Hoodoos from sunset point

Posted by Karthik (Buffalo, United States) on 17 May 2009 in Landscape & Rural.

Another view of hoodoos from sunset point during early afternoon light. It was blindingly bright and very windy. When we were at the bottom of the canyon it was cold and hailing and by the time we came up it was warm and extremely dry. Bryce gets most of its precipitation in the form of snow (9000 ft/ 3000 m) above sea level.
